It's tough deciding what to subscribe to in this still relatively new Substack model. I churn my subscriptions a lot and have settled into, if I can use a metaphor from the wrong sport, Larry Walker types who are always hitting and sometimes just crush the ball (like FdB) or Fred McGriff types who are less consistent but hit it out of the park. I'm fine waiting out a dryspell now and then considering how often these articles are titanic home runs.

Ooouuuff, a trip down memory lane... It was tough to be a young Giants fan against those Fred McGriff Braves teams.

Appreciate the heads as I enjoy being your head with your articles and narrated articles.

Since you don’t sound busy enough the boys over at +/- mentioned you today on the podcast would love to hear you again on there!

Where's Sarah Spain's review/take on your Nike Essay? Did she ever make a public statement on this? The saying often is, any news is good news! Just ask Scottie Pippen's publicist. LOL. And am I missing something, else? What is the "take economy system"??

BTW - you did a nice job on Cowherd's nationally syndicated program the other day. I know it's kind of a quick-hit though, and doesn't lend itself as much to your talents, as you are a long-form man, whether it is the written word or podcasts.
