That’s a picture of Briones Regional Park, the only spot I’ve visited outside my house since I got Covid (Improving with each day, FWIW). Right now Briones is in the running for my favorite place, but I could think of a few. I’m curious what places you all might name as your favorite, though.
Okinawa. It’s like Japan’s Hawaii. All the cool unique things about Japan, with an added chill vibe.
Santorini, Greece. Feels like you’re staring at a painting everywhere you look.
But since you’re in the bay: 7 Mile House in Brisbane (really close to the Cow Palace). A really delicious restaurant and cool bar with an amazing atmosphere during sporting events.
Finally: San Pablo Reservoir is a really neat spot to hike, or go fishing if you desire.
Richmond Park in West London - Gorgeous place for a run, cycle, or to get married! (Which I did) It’s so English. With or without rain, the place never disappoints.
A bit backwards, but as someone who spends much of my time in rural southern towns for work, I truly enjoy the 1-2 times/yr I go to NYC, either for work or pleasure.
Singapore is just the right mix of night-life, architecture, familiar yet stark differences, Asian but not too Asian (you know what I mean) to be a sensational holiday destination
Not as accessible as Briones, but the Maasai Mara is easily my favorite spot on earth. Been lucky to visit a few times.
Yosemite
A Chicago patio, deck or rooftop during the summer time
Recently returned from a trip to Galapagos Islands. That's #1 for now
1) Any place my grandkids are
2) Newport, RI. Breton State Park specifically.
Southern Utahs big 5: Zion, Staircase-Escalante, Canyonlands, Arches, and Capitol Reef
Palm island. Went there for my honeymoon. Amazing
All the parks along highway 84 out to San Gregorio are glowing right now
There's clearly been a lot of rain this winter, I never saw it that green when I lived there. Good choice.
From my current locale and one you may also appreciate - Torrey Pines

I love exploring all the small towns of Wisconsin. So many quaint downtowns with shops, diners, and bars.
Magnetic Island in Queensland, Australia. Paradise only 20 minute ferry away from the mainland.
The Great Blasket Island in southwest Ireland. Unbelievable beauty and serenity.
The Eastern Sierra, from Yosemite to Bishop. The North Umpqua River, OR.

Love Briones, we gotta get you on a bike. Three bears is one of the best rides in the state https://bayarearides.com/rides/threebears/
Southern Utah
San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua. Where I met my wife
Damnnnnnn good you didn't go to Mexico 😭😭😭😭😭😭

Lost Sierra
Anguilla and Piedmont region of Italy. Tie goes to Piedmont given close access to that gorgeous Lake.
