I'm interested in reading about the unusual ways the debate over trans women in sports is unfolding during this Olympics. The case of Ilona Maher is fascinating; she seems like a very sweet and clearly talented athlete—the kind of person who those advocating for a level playing field in women's sports should want to protect. Wouldn't it make sense for outlets like Outkick and The Daily Wire to say, "Hey, let's not pile on with nasty comments about her appearance and superficial gender non-conformity. Remember, as we've been saying for the past seven years, just because someone has some masculine traits, it doesn't make them a man!"

Such a stance could demonstrate that their efforts to protect women's sports are genuine and not merely a mean-spirited bullying campaign.

USA 3x3 just lost to Poland. Bring Tatum and Haliburton and Bam over stat.

LeBron should get a crew & go thru all the real qualifications for the 3x3 in LA for 2028. What an epic end cap to get a gold in that too

I was wondering how old LeBron/KD/Steph could be and still win the 3x3 (assuming they meet the qualifications). I'm ignorant in terms of the sport and competition level but I find it hard to believe they couldn't still win in their mid-to-late-40s... or am I nuts???

All of the current USA 3x3 guys are 30 & above, those 3 could definitely do it in their 40s at current 3x3 competition level

A bit hard to suggest topics when we don't the extent of your contacts/sources, but you've already alluded to a high level TV exec commenting on the NBA TV deal - something deeper on that would be nice. I imagine understanding locker room dynamics, or front office politics/dynamics/nepobabies would also be interesting. Topics where you have an in, basically.

1) Wosny pod where he explains why Trump is right about everything he said about Kamala at the NABJ (I kid, I kid! A joke!)

2) Bring back Richard Hanania - he's actually been spot on lately in his political analysis

3) I still think someone should talk about how Angel Reese has been great *but* also her double double streak was high comedy and at best a dubious achievement, that the MSM didn't know how to cover.

Have you ever listened to Wos' political pod? It's (ironically) called Woke Bros.

No, I've heard of it but I'm sure it would just annoy me to no end. I'm familiar with his shtick, who knows if he even believes half this stuff but there's an audience for it. I actually used to like Chapo Trap House and the dirt bag left, until it went off the rails. Now I find them as useless as MAGA. It's all a grift. I just hope Wos doesn't look at BrieBrie and think "that could be my career!". Wos is better than thar, I hope.

1. Bay Area Food takes pod with Nate (and maybe Jay Caspian Kang)

2. Find someone qualified to speak on stirring East Asian giant in CA electoral politics

3. Pod with Ruy Texeira and/or Joel Kotkin

there was some former Nike employee that went viral for documenting how they mismanaged things, can't seem to find it but would also love an analysis there.

Thoughts on the new Olympic events like surfing and skateboarding drawing new, younger viewers? I grew up doing both, but have zero interest in watching them as Olympic events.
