It's truly amazing how Bomami can take any subject and still find a way to make it about racial division. A real talent. Imagine walking through life filtering every thought through “Is there a racial problem here?” Sounds exhausting.

I don't think the question is "Is there a racial problem here?" but rather "How can I bend and twist this so it becomes a racial problem when it wasn't before?"

Not exhausting at all, it makes everything quite simple!

Figuring out if a couple teams would benefit from moving instead of expanding to 32 is one question. Another is why would the league expand when the 30 existing teams can barely keep their star players on the court for 65 of 82 games each regular season. And the games played/games started stats for top players on tanking teams should be embarrassing for the league and grounds for class action lawsuits for season ticket holders.

The league needs to remedy their day-to-day competition issues before giving us more of its subpar product. As a former Nets season ticket holder with a friend, we now buy tickets a la carte for visiting teams we want watch at a far better value from current season ticket holders who have to sell their distressed asset.

Two more teams not making the playoffs and intentionally losing. Awesome!

NBA needs to contract if anything. Been my favorite sport my entire life but between too many games and injured and tanking and the endless whining to refs (watch a game from the 90s — it is amazing how nobody complain relative to now) they have a major crisis. I basically don’t even watch the regular season now.

This would never happen but what if they made the NBA like the EPL and had a relegation. I think there are other markets that deserve teams like Seattle and Vegas maybe not enough for a full second league but this could also help with the tanking problem.

Euro popularity does not one bit guarantee American popularity.

I’d prefer 24 teams total. All this talent and the other night: Wizards vs Grizzlies, Kings vs Pelicans, Jazz vs Nets. There were 11 games and 2 were semi-interesting. If you took the 24 best players from 6 teams and redistributed them amongst the 24 teams left, the league would be great.

I think there’s enough talent in the league to expand, so from that point, it makes sense.

I also hope that they just make 4 divisions of 8 teams and you just play everyone twice. 62 games with no back to back’s. If they have to make it 70 games, fine. But that’s the max.

They won’t do it, but they should.
