I know you only mention it in passing, but the purported racial angle behind all the Jokic praise is beyond retarded. So… after selecting a black MVP for 13 straight seasons after Dirk, MVP voters unfairly passed over black players in the 2020s because they finally found the white ubermensch: a doughy 280-pound Serbian who looks like he was carved out of Spam. Right…
Sports books and prediction markets are alternate sides of the same coin. Hard for me to make a real distinction when it's all gambling. And gambling has diminished my interest in sports. I barely watch any pre or post game shows since they are almost always sponsored by sportsbooks and the hosts have to talk about lines and parlays and whatever. It's just gross and it's non-stop. Every show, every podcast, every arena. Total turn off. But I probably would have taken the money and bought the car.
I realize it sounds dumb to say that a prediction market social media team can be too online but somehow PM is too online. I totally agree that prediction markets are way less bad than sports books in all the ways people complain about sports books, like banning winners, or dangling terrible-odds parlays. It’s weird that PM’s social media is scummier than the product, when all the books do the opposite, showing a bunch of wholesome fun $5 bets with friends while they’re stringing whales along with free tickets and such.
If Polymarket posted more Simpsons memes, Ethan's family would have a new car

Cam Ward drafted #1 but Shedeur falling in the draft due to racism

The prediction markets are for sure not better. It is the exact same social malaise, worse even because it gets into more things.
Take the money, Ethan.
I'd like to believe that favoring one's principles over a short term financial gain works out in the long run. Hoping that's true in your case.
Unless this post is just a sneaky way to drop a lot of red meat rage-baity questions into your column while maintaining plausible deniability. :-)
Twitter is worse than cigarettes.
You are a better man than me, and apparently 99% of podcasters.
Sas addressed the Dude Perfect theft on his podcast saying DP did nothing more than reply "Sas is the OG" to some comments on the video.
Do you turned down a new car as a protest against rage bait tweets?
*So
That sounds insane but…maybe?
Yo I am 100% with you on sports betting and also think prediction markets are cesspools of corruption, but I’d take the car
