Get ready for more "Him Donaghy" types, Super Jocks in Super Debt

I want to kick this off by saying the following, lest I sound too sanctimonious. I understand that betting currently keeps what’s left of sports media afloat. If I still worked for a mainstream publication, I would accept the gambling dollars, and maybe even cut one of those ads for Draft Kings or whatever if my boss asked. I am not above it. I just happen to be in this situation, where I’m on an island. But this is just how I see the state of play, as sports betting cash floods all aspects of the industry, and a drip-drip-drip of scandal starts to dribble out of it all.
