The Lakers have an old recipe and too many cooks

HBO’s Winning Time, the Adam McKay-backed fanciful take on the 1980s Lakers dynasty, has the lighthearted feel of a rowdy Netflix show like GLOW. In an ironic contrast, it’s the currently depressing Lakers who’d be a far better fit for that classic HBO mold of tragicomedy.
