Reporters Want to Know About Shams vs. Woj
Do they also think a Hollywood depiction is imminent?
Recently, journalists have been reaching out to gather information about the Adrian Wojnarowski vs. Shams Charania war for NBA newsbreaking supremacy. I figure I might as well be open about that, as I can’t really come up with a strong reason for keeping it secret. I’ve got a lot of respect for two of the inquiring reporters in particular, and I’m sure they’ll do great stories. If I’m honest, it’s a little awkward because their questions can trigger a sense that I should be working on the same topic. While I don’t believe in jealously guarding my information, and I think there are enough stories to go around for everybody, just discussing these characters makes me want to be more transactional.
The reason I’m mentioning this outside interest is because I’ve now got this odd, incipient sense of being near what eventually becomes a movie or TV show. It makes me wonder if the inquiring reporters are merely doing a story, or if they’re perhaps more ambitious. I wonder if I’m watching the race to lay down foundation for a script.
