This is where Woz excels, not geopolitics. 100% agree about the prissy woke left acting like every male-female interaction defaults to sexual harrassment unless proven otherwise. This is the realm of ugly people and youre telling everyone what you think about yourself when you moan and groan that way.
Coalescing the last topics of the pod together (the best part), could you discuss how there haven’t been more *reported situations between players and female team employees?
You would have to be naive to believe that in the past 20-years the only two incidents of team fraternization were done Isiah Thomas and Ime Udoka. So how big is this issue for the NBA?
What is surprising to me now watching the NBA playoffs is how many attractive women there seem to be in and around the team these days (I score that to DEI/gender equity initiatives).
But isn’t that playing with fire? Why would organizations even tempt these young rich alpha males with young attractive women in a very high testosterone workplace?
Fair point. I definitely understand what you’re saying. I love listening to Woz on podcasts, and think his perspective is always extremely fresh, so maybe I was trying too hard to compliment him in a sweaty manner
Former huge fan, listened to the woke bros, consumed pre woke bros content, love him on HOS, but I can't consume him w regularity. His pod appearances are the perfect amount.
Criticized left-leaning politicians constantly - "these guys are the worst hypocrites, sanctimonious, annoying people" - but could never ponder for a mere moment voting against them. It became too annoying for me to listen to on the reg.
I admit I was ornery about the skew of political criticism on the pod as of late but “we can have gambling dollars or we can have sanctimony but we can’t have both” is the stuff I’m here for
Luka crying changed his relationship with Americans. 1) We can all relate to someone losing a dream and being rejected. 2) We never NBA stars so emotional upon their return (because they wanted to go). 3) We rarely see such raw emotion by any public figure.
And two weeks later it's as if that moment never happened. "We'll see" turned into flailing, crying to the refs, and losing alongside LeBron while Antman, Gobert, and Orange Julius Randle embarrassed them with effort, execution, and team play.
Collectively every NBA fan watching Lakers-Wolves G5 understood Nico Harrison's position. "Worst trade ever" turned into "If they got Reaves and a first..." he might have been on to something.
Luka's more associated right now with "most blowbys in a playoff game" (9 out of 16 drives defended were blowbys) than his sad tears. Lol and I love it!
First person I thought of when Ethan mentioned sports personalities who would have no audience without four letter corporate infrastructure was Mike Greenberg.
I also love R Miller but I just assumed it was because Fitz & Buike have ruined my broadcasting palette.
Second holf of the pod was especially 🔥🔥🔥

Wos is great. I'm a fan.
Every critical opinion of a white towards a black or woman is racist or sexist until proven otherwise, as well.

Woz nba < anything else Woz
Can Woz be a regular contributor during the playoffs? I’d also follow him as the leader of the next anti-puritanical sexual revolution
curious what sexual revolution comes after "mass amounts of women in society view and treat themselves as sex objects for money or attention"...

The Reggie Miller is very happy to be there and at least was a great player was perfected by Magic Johnson on NBC in the 90s
Luka's got a chance to be the biggest star 🤣 Only in LA!
Ant man, Batman, Superman, Lakas in Fi'
Ant > Luka
@1:06:34 "They are running BaseLine Out of Bounds plays for dick" is quite the visual 😂😂
As we learned from John Hollinger and Josh Giddey, the only way it could've been funnier is if you said "SideLine Out of Bounds plays" instead lol

Guess the Clips heard you
Love Wos & Ethan going on about the validity of the “harassment versus flirting” meme. It is a trope for a reason!
Woz: "San Antonio, for god sakes, god forbid."
Chuck: "They got some big ol' women in San Antonio."
I think the Fox polling from today agrees with your Trump presidency take
Came for Woz, stayed to hear him use “penchant”
