Sarah Haider is one of my favorite public intellectuals but she’s “tapped out” of the broader conversation, post ayahuasca journey. That’s a shame for me, but fortunately, she’ll still occasionally visit this podcast and reveal her thinking on current matters.
After going heavy sports with Mike Sando, this pod is heavy culture. The discussion revolves around a buzzy article in Compact titled, “The Lost Generation.” It’s about the process and after effects of prestige institutions boxing out history’s greatest villains: Millennial White Men. I thoroughly enjoyed our conversation about the piece, and was even surprised by some of Sarah’s observations about the recently bygone era.
