Here’s a less than comprehensive list of major publications that are now covering Knicks and Rangers owner James Dolan’s bizarre war with New York politicians over his facial recognition-enforced enemies list:

New York Times

New York Post

New York Magazine

Washington Post

The Athletic

Yahoo NBA

Bleacher Report

The Daily Mail out in England

Sports Business Journal

Newsweek

Bloomberg

Outkick the Coverage

The Defector

Fox News

CNN

CNBC

And, of course, House of Strauss Substack

Seems like a pretty big story, large enough to cross that boundary between sports and general news.

Additionally, here’s a less than comprehensive list of major publications not covering James Dolan’s bizarre fight, as of 10 A.M. PST on a Friday:

ESPN NBA

Well isn’t that interesting. Once again, HoS Substack finds itself covering the big dog that didn’t bark and giving an explanation as to its silence. Here we go.

Back when I wrote about ESPN’s coverage (or lack thereof) of the Ime Udoka workplace sexual misconduct scandal, the top comment on my story from a reader was this:

It's unbelievable how one reporter's agency connection is the lens through which the main media partner of a league covers an entire sport.

Unbelievable, but at this point, pretty difficult to deny. We will get into the mounting evidence.
