Meadowlark Media Mogul and former ESPN personality Dan Le Batard has opened up a conversation about how many of ESPN’s recent prominent hires are WHITE.

Since George Floyd, the company of ESPN and the country of the United States were promising some sort of change over the last five years. But what has happened with the NFL Network and ESPN having put a whole bunch of White people in charge of how to select the next evolution of ESPN, this is what’s happened.

It’s led to an Outkick response that alleges Meadowlark hasn’t employed considerably different demographics as of late. That’s a potential hypocrisy but my focus is less on the inconsistency and more on the explanation of outcome. It’s interesting that even Meadowlark isn’t consciously diverse in practice. I believe that Le Batard is missing a major reason for why this alleged WHITENING is visible at not just ESPN, but also at his own company. I hazard there’s a Donald Trump component to all this.
